Heroes on the Quabbin's mission is to help veterans, active-duty military, and our friends in wheelchairs relax and reconnect through fishing and boating trips on the Quabbin Reservoir and other local waters with their family and friends.

 

We treat our guests to lunch on the water with refreshments. We take pictures and videos to capture the day. Heroes on the Quabbin also helps local Veteran organizations with special fundraising projects that will benefit the Veteran organization and local Veterans whom the organization serves. We have been successful on this journey to make this dream a reality for those we serve.

But the truth is, we cannot do this alone. We need your help!

Like any start-up in business, there's a ton of work and a lot of money needed to get off the ground. We need your financial support! Right out of the gate, there are several costs and expenses that we must pay just to open the doors. Please help us with your generous donation of any amount. We need to raise the first $5,000 to cover the required start-up costs, including insurance, website costs, social media launch, marketing launch, and a host of other expenses.

Every fishing/boating trip with a veteran and guest costs on average, $100-$150, between fuel for the truck and boat, the cost of fishing and boating equipment, the cost of food and refreshments, cost of parting gifts provided to our guests.

 

This is a really great program for veterans, active-duty military, and our friends who use wheelchairs. Nothing beats seeing the smiles on people's faces when they're catching fish, laughing, and enjoying the day.
